To: My Classmates

Time used to pass so slow,
but in the blink of an eye we've become so old.
I wish I could travel back in time,
and to the good old days I'd arrive.
When we used to play carefree under the sun,
and the only thing we wanted to do was have fun.
But now we're about to go separate ways,
even though the first day of school seemed like yesterday.
I won't be seeing the same people as I walk through the halls,
and we'll all be in an unfamiliar place next fall.
But no matter how far apart we are,
I want to say that I'm so proud of all of us for making it this far.
Although I'm ready for a fresh start,
you all hold a special place in my heart.
