When you look in a mirror...what is the first thing you see? A handsome boy, a pretty girl? Or flaws that build up insecurities? People nowadays are self-conscious about themselves and their appearances. Knowing that wherever they go, people judge according to the outside cover of a book. Thinking they are not enough. What is the most important trait for a person? Most people first look at a person's facial features such as their eyes or nose. But what people should be thinking about is their heart. Human's minds have become corrupt, thinking about the beauty outside and not the beauty on the inside. If you are one of those people anxious about who they should be and what they should look like, all I can say is to be yourself.
Nations opened up its doors,
to help those who were heartbroken and torn,
for the distressing call for help was answered,
and the only emotions felt were sadness and anger.
We will always remember our loved ones, and what the evil-doers had done.
But for a quick moment, our nations were unified as one.
-To commemorate the lost and the fallen,
and to remember how people came to aid each other
When you Achieve,
You begin to Believe,
Once you believe, you start to Conquer,
After you conquer, you remember that your journey all started with a
You can accomplish,
you can accompany,
you can accept,
you can acknowledge,
you can activate,
you can adapt,
you can add,
you can admire,
you can adopt,
you can advance,
you can affect,
you can agitate,
you can agree,
you can allege,
you can achieve anything.
You can be pretty,
you can be poise,
you can be positive,
you can be professional,
you can be popular,
you can be a princess,
you can be a parent,
you can be a panda,
you can be a peacemaker,
you can be a pianist,
but what you can't be is perfect.
If I'm the Kit Kat, you're the chocolate.
If I'm the child snuggled up in a blanket, you are the blanket surrounding me.
If I was the pool, you would be the hot tub.
What I'm trying to say is that if I'm your daughter, you're the best part of me no matter what...
- Happy Mother's Day!
You hold out a hand,
you touch a heart,
you help a soul,
and lit the spark.
To inspire me truly
to never give up.
And to reach for the stars
and to just never stop.
I really want to thank you
for everything that you do.
You are a blessing,
you are a gift,
you are my teacher...
And I can't thank you enough for helping me grow.
And I can't forget what you did
to change my world.
-Thank you teachers for everything that you've done
to help giving children the opportunity to learn and to be educated.
You all have inspired, motivated, taught, showed, and pointed out many things
that have helped students grow. This is a poem that shows all our gratitudes as a student for our teachers.
Thank you all again!
Our life is like the ocean,
made up of rocks and sand,
with many treasurable things that make
our life an exciting adventure.
But the ocean also has trash and pollution,
resembling the moments we waste.
So exploit each tiny treasure
that occurs and make sure none go to waste.
Bits of sand on the ocean floor,
are simply like the tiny treasurable moments
that make up the ocean,
that eventually form our life.
A different perspective,
doesn't mean to throw away the old,
but just to add the new.
